Townsville University Hospital is seeking applications for a Staff Specialist/Senior Staff Specialist - Urology, on a permanent full-time basis.

About the opportunity:

Position: Staff Specialist - Urology

Vacancy: Permanent full-time, 80 hours per fortnight

Location: Townsville University Hospital

  • The Staff Specialist will provide comprehensive surgical services across a wide range of pathologies and patient age within the Department of Urology.

Enjoy a generous remuneration package valued up to $536,916 p.a., including:

  • Salary range: $210,332 to $266,667 p.a. (L18-L27)
  • Annual leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
  • Attraction and retention incentive allowance (50% base salary)
  • Motor vehicle allowance between $21,000 and $25,500 p.a.
  • Professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a. + 3.6 weeks p.a. leave

Requirements:

  • Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable).
  • All applicants must be awarded SoCP by the THHS Credentialing and SoCP committee. 
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance.
