Consultant/Specialist/GP

Provide specialist clinical services to patients presenting or referred to the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service. The Urologists will function as part of a multidisciplinary team and will be expected to lead and maintain cooperative and collaborative relationships with nursing, medical, allied health and administrative staff both within and external to the service.

Remuneration value up to $497 941 p.a. (L25 – L27) or Remuneration value up to $455 624 p.a. (L18 – L24), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., plus private practice arrangements.

Purpose of the role

Assist in the provision of an effective, efficient and equitable Urology service providing expert medical leadership in Urology that encourages innovation, patient and multidisciplinary team participation in treatment and care with the aim of achieving demonstrable improvement in service outcomes.

Your opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist Urology to facilitate the delivery of high-quality care to patients of the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.
