Clinical Nurse Consultant/Specialist

Get paid to live in paradise and join the Special Care Nursery team as a Clinical Nurse. In this role you will be required to provide leadership to effectively plan, manage and evaluate patient care activities at an advanced practitioner level within the specified clinical setting and promote patient flow in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.

About your role: 

  • Assist the Nurse Unit Manager, implement and monitor the organisation's quality standards, work health and safety policies, procedures and programs and provide clinical governance in the relevant work area.
  • Practice collaboratively and provide clinical leadership and education within the interdisciplinary health care team to promote the safety, security and personal integrity of individuals and groups.
  • Use effective communication skills to influence and convince others in a mature, confident manner to achieve positive client outcomes, including providing informant and/or advice on clinical issues within the registered nurse scope of practice.
  • Maintain productive multi-disciplinary working relationships, effectively dealing with challenging behaviours and the resolution of conflicts.
  • Undertake quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities to ensure the provision of quality, cost-effective patient care.
