This is a Permanent Part
Time/Fixed Term Part Time appointment forl at 60.8
hours per fortnight.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the
above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar"
vacancies with various hours and appointment types (casual, fixed
term or permanent) throughout the health service. In addition to
this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the
advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also
be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid
for a period of twelve (12) months from
when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment
decision.
Position Profile: Provide a liaison service and
direct link between health service staff and Aboriginal people to
ensure culturally appropriate access to health care.
Area Profile: WA Country Health Service (WACHS)
- Inland Operations consists of eight hospitals, comprising two
District Hospital, two small hospitals, three Multi-Purpose Sites
(MPS) and one Nursing Post. Inland spans in the
north from the southern boundary of the South Metropolitan Health
Service near Harvey, to Northcliffe in the south. This position is
based in Wellington - covering sites in Collie, Harvey and
Donnybrook.
