A Northern NSW hospital requires Senior Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine for the following date(s).

Shift(s) details as below:

from 04/03/2025 07:00 to 07/03/2025 19:00 at $2750 per day

from 10/03/2025 07:00 to 13/03/2025 19:00 at $2750 per day

from 18/03/2025 07:00 to 23/03/2025 19:00 at $2750 per day

from 24/03/2025 07:00 to 27/03/2025 19:00 at $2750 per day

With a 28-bed inpatient unit that includes Obstetrics, a busy Emergency Department managing 12-25 presentations daily, and an Operating Theatre, you'll enjoy a diverse and rewarding clinical experience. Shifts run for 12 hours, either 0700-1900 or 1900-0700, depending on GP availability (Supported by the local GP when available) and whether the theatre is in use. Locums are also required to be available for second on-call during the opposite 12-hour shift, but this will only apply if critically needed. Emergency surgical assistance may also be required. On-call is included in the flat rate, with no additional payments.
