About the role..
Are you anOccupational Therapistlooking to make a real difference in the lives of people with brain injuries? Join our Brain Injury Unit (BIU) at Royal Rehab, a state-wide specialised rehabilitation service representing the inpatient part of the BIRS service.You’ll play a vital role in delivering evidence-based clinical interventions that empower clients to achieve their goals.
Working within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team, you’ll collaborate to develop big-picture, client-focused goals, supporting individuals on their journey to recovery and independence. Key responsibilities include:

To provide high quality, evidenced based, timely Occupational Therapy services to clients to maximise function and performance in activities of daily living that are meaningful to the clients.

Clinical supervision will be provided by the Senior Occupational Therapist, overseen by the Occupational Therapy Professional Leader.

Opportunities for participating in the discipline’s in-service and EBP program will be available.
About you..
We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual with:
Essential Criteria:
-
Current, full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
-
Experience in working within a Neurological Rehabilitation framework.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and multidisciplinary teamwork.
-
Current C Class unrestricted drivers license.
-
Excellent time management, handover and self-organisation skills.
