What You'll Be Doing
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering safe, compassionate, and high-quality person-centred care within the perioperative setting. You will work as part of a skilled and dedicated team, ensuring that best practices are met in alignment with South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) standards and policies.

- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Demonstrated recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a perioperative setting, with the ability to provide safe, compassionate, and culturally responsive care across scrub, scout, anaesthetics, or recovery nursing.

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, carers, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centred care, while maintaining professionalism and contributing positively to team culture.

Demonstrated critical thinking and ability to apply evidence-based practice to deliver safe and effective perioperative nursing care.

Demonstrated understanding of, and participation in risk management, work health and safety, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and workplace safety.
