About the role
As a Senior Dietitian in the Health Promotion team, you will be supporting evidence-based health promotion programs that address the prevention of chronic disease, with a focus on nutrition and healthy eating in Western New South Wales Local Health District (WNSWLHD).

WNSWLHD is one of the largest Local Health Districts in NSW encompassing an area of 246,676 square kilometres. The population is approximately 284,000 people with approx. 14.5% identifying as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander.

The Health Promotion Team has the responsibility of delivering mandated state-wide and locally developed programs under Healthy Eating & Active Living (HEAL) and tobacco / vaping control across WNSWLHD.

You will join a dynamic team that develops, implements, delivers, and evaluates population-level health promotion programs. This position works within a high performing Health Promotion Unit which consistently meets its performance targets.
