Where you'll be working
Our Hospital In The Home (HITH) team is located across the district with bases at Hornsby, Royal North Shore and Mona Vale
What you'll be doing
You will provide an effective and high-quality HITH physiotherapy service as part of the multidisciplinary team,
based soundly on the principles of evidence-based practice and established physiotherapy standards.
You will need to have high-level skills in respiratory, cardiac, orthopaedic, post-surgical, and general medicine to ensure the HITH patient remains safe at home during the acute phase of their injury or illness.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Full registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. Evidence of extensive clinical experience with a minimum at a Level 2 Physiotherapist.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement activities or service evaluation process. Experience in clinical teaching and supervision of students, level 1/2 Allied Health Professionals and/or Allied Health Assistants.
- Demonstrated proficiency in ability to work autonomously with limited supervision. Have the ability to prioritise work, manage a demanding workload, apply high level reasoning skills and have independent professional judgement.
- Demonstrated proficient skills and knowledge in the provision of current physiotherapy practice. A strong commitment to an evidence-based service to provide for consumers, carers and families requiring assessment, case management, intervention, appropriate referral and discharge planning.
