An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an expanding Health Service with a culture of innovation, education, training and research, with facilities across the Sunshine Coast including the University Hospital at Birtinya.

Permanent part-time position available, 16hrs p.f.

Remuneration up to $77,312 p.a.

We are looking for an exceptional Medical Practitioner or Breast Medicine Physician to join our BreastScreen team within the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.

SCHHS Salary includes:

  • Base salary comprising of between $87.25 - $120.51 p.h.
  • Motor vehicle allowance (pro rata for Part-time)
      • L13 – L24 – $21,000 p.a.
      • L25 – $25,500 p.a.
  • Attraction and Retention Allowance up to 35% of base salary
  • Professional development allowance $21,500 p.a. (pro rata for Part-time)

The Senior Medical Officer (BreastScreen) position joins a growing BreastScreen Queensland - Sunshine Coast Service (BSQSC) department at Nambour General Hospital.

BSQSC is part of the BreastScreen Queensland and BreastScreen Australia Programs providing Screening Mammography and Assessment Services to eligible women within two Hospital and Health Services, being the Sunshine Coast-Cooloola area of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and the Caboolture and Kilcoy areas of the Metro North Hospital and Health Service.

The Service incorporates 6 static services located at Nambour, Caboolture, Caloundra, Gympie, Maroochydore and Noosaville, as well as a Mobile BSQ Service to 10 sites including Cooroy, Beerwah, Bribie Island, Kawana, Kenilworth, Kilcoy, Maleny, Nambour Mill, Morayfield and Tin Can Bay, with possible future expansion planned.
