This is a permanent part
time or fixed term appointment of 19 hours per fortnight, with the
possibility of extensions(s) and/or
permanency.
Position
Profile: As part of the multidisciplinary team and in
collaboration with Regional Nurse Educators; plans, implements and
evaluates education and training relevant to the clinical practice
of the nursing cohort at ward or unit level. Is responsible for the
orientation and development support of all nursing staff (including
assistants in nursing), and in particular newly qualified and
junior nurses. Provides support and clinical facilitation for
undergraduate and postgraduate nurses in line with education
institution agreements.
To be successful in
this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated high level
communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation,
problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to
plan, facilitate and deliver clinically situated education and
training incorporating adult learning principles, including
validation of practical skills.
- Demonstrated digital
capability (including the ability to teach others) across
clinical systems which contribute to the provision of quality
care and with systems that support learning.
