About the role
Are you a dedicated Pharmacist looking to make a meaningful impact in patient care? In this role, you will deliver high-quality, comprehensive, and cost-effective pharmacy services to both inpatients and outpatients. Your expertise in dispensing, clinical services, production, and counselling will be essential in optimising drug therapy and ensuring safe, effective medication management. Working within hospital and departmental guidelines, SA Health policies, and State and Federal legislation, you will provide expert drug and therapeutic advice to medical, nursing, and allied health professionals.
Collaboration is key to this role, as you will be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering optimal medication management services. Your contributions will directly enhance patient outcomes by ensuring best practices in pharmaceutical care. About You
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pharmacist who is passionate about delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care. To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills – ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting, accept supervision, and engage effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities – attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently while using initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical expertise and adaptability – strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practice, drug dispensing, patient counselling, and pharmacy legislation, with the flexibility to navigate change.
- Relevant training and experience – completion of pre-registration training in a hospital or community setting, with a commitment to maintaining best practices in pharmacy care.
