SA Health is seeking a passionate and experienced Nurse Consultant to join our esteemed Complex Benign Gynaecology team at the Flinders Medical Centre.The gynaecology service functions within the Ambulatory Women's Health Service.
About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Gynaecology Surgery andAdv N&M / Midwifery Director, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care and support to patients undergoing complex benign gynaecological procedures. Your expertise and leadership will be invaluable in driving best practices, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.Duties for the role will include:
- Contribute to the development of, implementation of, and monitoring of corporate policies and processes that relate to complex gynaecology care
- Ensure mechanisms are in place to support ongoing education where work and learning are integrated,
- Provides leadership and direction, acts a role model, mentor, consultant and resource person,
- Contributing to the development of an integrated team approach and culture which is highly responsive to the needs of our consumers.
About you:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate,
- Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience
