About the role

• A 14-bed acute medically supervised alcohol and drug withdrawal management unit.

• Specialising in stabilisation and treatment of severe substance use disorders over 5 - 7 days.

• Part of the wider St Vincent’s Alcohol and Drug Service

• Opportunity to progress in the clinical rotation programme in all aspects of ADS.

About you

• Comprehensively assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care within an inpatient drug and alcohol setting.

• Appropriate referral and communication with other health providers, community and support services.

• Providing evidence-based nursing care to people of all ages and cultural groups.

• Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency
