About the role

A 14-bed acute medically supervised alcohol and drug withdrawal management unit.

Specialising in stabilisation and treatment of severe substance use disorders over 5 - 7 days.

Part of the wider St Vincent’s Alcohol and Drug Service

Opportunity to progress in the clinical rotation programme in all aspects of ADS.
About you
-
Comprehensively assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care within an inpatient drug and alcohol setting.

Appropriate referral and communication with other health providers, community and support services.

Providing evidence-based nursing care to people of all ages and cultural groups.

Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency
