SA Health is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at the Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide's metropolitan southern region.
About the role:
Reporting to the Cardiology Network Director this role, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality cardiac diagnostic services, ensuring accurate and timely assessments for our patients. Your expertise will be invaluable in interpreting and reporting on a wide range of cardiac investigations, including electrocardiograms, exercise stress tests, and more. Duties for the role will include:
- Responsible for independently performing routine diagnostic tests in the disciplines of Echocardiography, intervention, ambulatory monitoring and pacemaker assessment.
- Performance of more complex tasks relating to implantable defibrillators, stress echocardiography, 3D and strain analysis, and training staff.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant science or health related field
- Allied Health professional with at least 3 years post registration experience
- Current experience and knowledge of adult Echocardiography as provided in a tertiary care hospital
