About the opportunity:
Position: Clinical Nurse (Sustained Health Home Visiting)
Vacancy: Permanent Full-time or Permanent Part-time
Location: Child, Youth and Family Health / Women's and Children's Service Group / Townsville
We are looking for a motivated Clinical nurse to join our Child Youth and Family Health Team as part of the Sustained Health Home Visiting investment for Putting Qld Kids First strategy. This investment supports parents in their own wellbeing and builds capacity to provide safe, healthy home environments for their child's development.

- Salary range: $4138.10 to $4431.10 per fortnight or $54.44 to $58.30 p.h. (Nurse Grade 6 - Band 1)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications/ professional registration/ other requirements:
- Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
- Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD): This is a VPD risk role. Hepatitis A and B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella and Pertussis.
- Highly desirable: Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in Child Youth and Family health. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus.
- Highly desirable: Experience within community child health
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks may be conducted, including Criminal History Check, Blue Card, NDIS, QCS or Aged Care screening
