Primary Objective:The role will prioritise the provision of social work services to victim survivors of domestic, family and sexual violence. The role will require highly developed skills in completing social work psychosocial assessments, risk assessments, develop safety plans, and identify appropriate referral pathways, to ensure safe patient discharge destinations and provide a supportive patient centred response. This role will work to increase the ability of the Hospital to respond to domestic, family and sexual violence through the provision of staff supervision and education and the implementation of relevant service improvements.
