Nurse Practitioner

Get paid to live in paradise and join Mobile Women’s Health Unit, team, Intensive Care, Women’s and Perioperative Services as a Clinical Nurse Consultant. The Clinical Nurse Consultant is a Registered Nurse who is accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of clinical practice and the provision of human and material resources within a defined units/area. To promote, maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of rural and isolated women who are geographically, socially and/or culturally disadvantaged through the provision of outreach preventative gynaecological health services (including cervical screening), counselling and education within a Public Health and Primary Health care framework.

About your role:

  • Deliver women's health preventative care and education in a variety of community settings across CHHHS.
  • Communicate effectively with the CNC for Gynaecology and the Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in order to provide first line care and referral for more complex care as required.
  • Delivery a safe and sustainable cervical screening test (CST) service across these communities.
