An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner to join the Midwest team working across Dongara and Kalbarri.

To be successful, you will have...

• Demonstrated advanced clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of illness and injury relevant to the role.
• Clinical problem solving skills including conceptual and analytical ability.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including negotiation skills.
• Sound knowledge of relevant legislative and health regulating Acts including legislative obligations.
• Experience in quality improvement, its practical application in meeting patient’s needs and its relationship to strategic development.
• Eligible for / or in possession of a current C or C-A Class drivers licence or other specialised licence class

Position Profile:

Provides advanced nursing assessment, diagnosis, care and intervention to patients and families within the scope of practice of a Nurse Practitioner and the site designation(s) in emergency care. Develops and maintains evaluation processes of patient outcomes relevant to the Nurse Practitioner scope of practice.

The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to new and existing nurses and midwives - across a broad range of patient-facing roles - on fixed term or permanent contracts at eligible locations.
