About this role
The Consultant Clinical
Psychologist Director provides leadership and is responsible for
clinical psychology services and in conjunction with the Director
of CNWA, for the clinical and strategic direction, management and
governance of the financial, information, material and human
resources of the WA Psycho-Oncology Service (WAPOS) including a
state-wide inpatient and outpatient psycho oncology services to
patients in accordance with policies, objectives and goals of the
organisation. The position provides direct clinical
psychology services for the assessment, treatment and management of
adult cancer patients with complex, acute and chronic mental health
disorders; provides high level consultancy at a state-wide level on
cancer and mental health research and policy. The role plans,
conducts and implements specialist research and training to improve
the outcomes of psycho oncology care in WA.
This role reports to the Service
Director Cancer Network WA and has direct reports.
