This is a Permanent Full Time or  Fixed Term Full Time appointment with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.


Position Profile: As part of a multidisciplinary team, assess, plans, implements and coordinates Occupational Therapy services to consumers via a care coordination model at an advanced level of practice in the Assessment and Treatment Team (ATT). Plans, implements and evaluates consumer safety and quality of care. Works as part of the ATT multidisciplinary team to share the roles of triaging referrals and the role of on-duty clinician. Practices as a Senior Occupational Therapist and ensures practice is in accordance to the Occupational Therapy professional and registration requirements, standards, codes and guidelines and EMHS policies and guidelines.

 Bentley Health Service (BHS) is a specialist hospital located 11km from the Perth CBD and forms part of the Royal Perth Bentley Group. BHS provides quality healthcare to the community, specialising in the delivery of mental health care, aged care services, obstetrics, and rehabilitation.
