Where you'll be working
Brookvale Community Health Centre with flexibility to base from Mona Vale.
What you'll be doing
Providing a high level of occupational therapy services to patients and clients of the Northern Beaches LGA.
The role is within the Community Team (CHSP contract) with access to clinical supervision and professional development.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Must hold registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated well developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use health information systems.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required).
- Demonstrate skills and knowledge in the provision of Occupational Therapy service to consumers, carers and families requiring assessment, environmental modifications, home modifications, appropriate referral and discharge planning.
