About the role
We’re seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiographer (Breast Imaging) to join our BreastScreen SA team, delivering high-quality mammography services across metropolitan clinics. You will play a crucial role in supporting early detection and diagnosis through accurate and efficient imaging, contributing to the well-being of patients and communities. With your expertise, you’ll ensure the provision of a professional and compassionate service that meets high clinical standards.
Eligible to hold a Certificate of Mammographic Practice (CMP) from the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT), you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on patient-centred care and continuous service improvement. About You
We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated Radiographer (Breast Imaging) to join our team. You will bring:
- Qualifications and Technical Expertise: Appropriate qualification with registration through the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia and experience in general radiography and mammography quality assurance processes.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, work with diverse client groups, and demonstrate empathy and sensitivity during examinations.
- Organisational and Teamwork Skills: Proven ability to manage workloads, meet screening targets, work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, and handle conflict situations professionally.
- Knowledge of Mammography and Patient Privacy: Comprehensive understanding of client privacy, confidentiality, and specialised mammography views used in detecting and assessing breast pathology.
