About the role:

The Clinical Nurse (CN) Child and Family Health demonstrates specialised nursing knowledge and competency in the delivery of child and family health services within a multidisciplinary team setting, promoting best practice and quality client care using a primary health care approach.

A Clinical Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) who is accountable at an advanced level for the coordination of clinical practice. This position provides leadership and support to nursing and medical staff and supports the delivery of competent, best practice quality nursing care, while working in collaboration with the line manager of the unit.

About you:

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.
    • Post Graduate qualifications in Child and Youth Health and current experience in Child and Family Health Practice are mandatory for this position.
  • This position may be required to participate in other duties as required by supervisor or due to changing organisational/service delivery environments.

Total remuneration value of up to $131,900 is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
