An exciting opportunity to join the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Royal North Shore Hospital, ranked the 3rd best hospital in Australia in 2022. The NICU is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join their team. Positions are being offered on a permanent full time or part time basis.

Where you'll be working

Royal North Shore Hospital
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Royal North Shore Hospital is a Perinatal State Wide Service for the provision of care to preterm neonates from 23 weeks gestation and sick term neonates. The Family centred care philosophy provides a unique nursing experience that focuses on the baby and family as one unit. We offer an extensive orientation program that includes co-ordinated study with in-class lectures and clinical exposure. The program is individualised with recognition of prior experience.
What you'll be doing
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the greater health care team to achieve quality patient care outcome.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated knowledge and extensive clinical experience of NICU/special care.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
