About the Role:
Are you a motivated Registered Nurse looking towards career progression?
In accordance with the ACT Nursing and Midwifery Enterprise Bargaining Agreement 2023-2026 (EBA) Schedule 5, this is an opportunity for permanent Registered Nurses (RN) Level 1, to apply for personal reclassification to Registered Nurse (RN) Level 2, based on their experience, skill and ability. This opportunity applies only to the applicant’s current area of specialty.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
To be eligible to apply for a promotion to Registered Nurse Personal Classification Level 2, applicants:
- Must be a Permanent Officer at the Registered Nurse Level 1 Classification for Canberra Health Services.
- To aid our Recruitment Staff in confirming work rights, if the applicant is currently on a Temporary Residency VISA, please attach a copy of the applicants VISA Grant and Passport Bio-page.
Minimum years of worked experience required for a permanent Registered Nurse Level 2 pre-requisite:
- Four (4) years (6840 hours) of post graduate hours of practice worked in direct or indirect roles (inclusive of 7 weeks annual leave per year)

· A maximum two-page Pitch response, outlining your skills, knowledge, and experience and why you should be considered for this role. You should take into consideration the Selection Criteria when drafting your response.

1. Referee Report and recommendation from your Clinical Nurse Consultant/Manager (CNC/M), including an endorsement by the Director of Nursing, and
2. Referee Report from a previous manager or senior colleague.

Only the Personal Classification Level 2 Application, current CV, Selection Criteria responses, Referee Reports, and DON/CNC/Nurse Manager’s endorsements/recommendations are required to be submitted when applying via the Careers page.
Documents listed under the Eligibility/other requirements (above), No longer need to be attached and submitted online via Careers page with the application. These documents are only to be viewed by the current Manager, who then signs the Manager’s Declaration confirming that the candidate meets all the criteria to apply.
The CV, Selection Criteria and Referee Reports are then reviewed by the panel for assessment for interview.
