About the Role
RN-1As a Nurse at this level, you will be integral in providing exceptional nursing care across various health service settings. You will have the opportunity to develop from a novice practitioner into a proficient professional, consolidating your knowledge and skills as you gain experience. This role offers a supportive environment for you to build upon your capabilities through ongoing professional development, helping you progress in your nursing career while making a meaningful impact on patient care.
In this position, you will take full accountability for the standards of your own nursing care, ensuring the highest level of care and professionalism. You will also be responsible for overseeing the delegation of tasks to others, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated nurse looking to grow and enhance their practice in a dynamic and rewarding healthcare setting.
RN-2 As a Clinical Nurse (CN) within the Mental Health Care Program (MHCP), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health nursing care across diverse settings. With your solid experience and/or advanced study, you’ll take on a role that evolves as you progress from competent to proficient practice. You will be accountable for maintaining high standards in your own clinical practice, overseeing the delegation of tasks to others, and providing guidance and mentorship to less experienced colleagues. The CN position is predominantly clinical, but you will also have opportunities to expand your career through additional responsibilities aligned with your professional development and MHCP priorities.
The CN role offers variety and the chance to influence positive outcomes across the service. You may be involved in teaching, research, or contributing to larger MHCP initiatives, such as developing clinical protocols, guidelines, and process mapping. Your input into complex projects and specific portfolio responsibilities will shape the future of mental health nursing practice. This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for an experienced CN looking to enhance their skills and contribute to meaningful change in the mental health sector.
