MLHD are recruiting dedicated Registered Nurses to join our state of the art facility in Wagga Wagga.
About the role
As a Registered Nurse at MLHD, you will be able to showcase your superpower of building bonds with your patients in order to achieve patient-centred care, trust, and respect in every interaction. In a thriving hive of activity, you’ll be developing and assessing care plans with patients and their caregivers, identifying and addressing changes in patient conditions, and overseeing efficient discharge and transfer procedures. Surrounded by your dream team, you will be immersed in evidence-based programs to enhance nursing quality and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Exceptional Patient Care:Aligning to policy and working within your scope of practice to assess, plan, implement and deliver comprehensive care plans that reflect the identified needs and goals of the patient.
- Critical Thinking: Identify and develop safe and effective strategies to improve practice and patient safety.
- Communication and Teamwork: Maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, patients, carers and families.
- Professional Development: Maintain professional growth and development by participating in educational opportunities.

Requirements
- Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority (AHPRA)

About the Health Service
Wagga Wagga Health Service provides services including critical care, medical, surgical, paediatric, obstetric, and rehabilitation care. The facility also provides mental health and community health services. A team of specialists support the service which include cardiovascular, gastroenterology, renal medicine, obstetrics, orthopaedics, psychiatry and paediatrics.
There is also the provision of a full range of allied health and support services such as oral health, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, sexual health and violence prevention and response services.
