Are you a seasoned Speech Pathologist ready to take on a leadership role in a dynamic, rural and remote setting? As the Clinical Senior Speech Pathologist, you’ll leverage your clinical expertise and leadership skills to drive the development, delivery, and continuous enhancement of high-quality Speech Pathology services tailored to the unique needs of rural and remote communities.

Working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment, you'll provide expert clinical services and consultancy across the region, ensuring the highest professional standards are maintained. As a mentor and clinical supervisor, you’ll guide and support less experienced Speech Pathologists, nurturing their growth while playing a key role in the clinical education of both staff and professional students.

In addition to your clinical leadership, you’ll take an active role in the regional LHN Speech Pathology Network, collaborating with fellow Clinical Seniors to champion research, contribute to evidence-based improvements, and lead initiatives that enhance clinical practice. You will also hold a portfolio for RMCLHN, where you’ll have the opportunity to shape service improvements, represent the organization on relevant committees, and manage key projects.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Speech Pathology, you’ll receive clinical support and supervision, while maintaining strong, cooperative relationships with allied health leaders, local team members, and regional stakeholders. Essential Criteria

  • Must hold a recognised qualification within Speech Pathology profession and be eligible for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
  • As a self-regulated progression, it is desirable to participate in Speech Pathology Australia’s Professional Self-Regulation (PSR) program.
