  • Permanent Part Time; minimum 16 hours per week

About the Opportunity

The Virtual Adults Service is part of the RPA Virtual Urgent Care Service provided by RPA Virtual Hospital. The aim of the service is to reduce pressure on the emergency departments and add capacity to existing urgent care services. The multi-disciplinary service will provide the metro Sydney community with timely access to emergency (non-life threatening) assessment and care. Nursing staff will provide comprehensive assessment, management and referral for patients. The service is supported by a Nurse Manager, NUM and CNCs. Operating will be from 8am to 10pm, seven days a week.

Ideal Candidate

  • Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Emergency Department experience at Triage level and above is preferable.
