
Visiting Medical Officer in Foot and Ankle Surgery

John Hunter Hospital, located in Newcastle, NSW, is seeking applications from skilled Orthopaedic Surgeons to deliver high-quality and efficient specialist Foot and Ankle Orthopaedic services to the Hunter New England region. The role involves participation in regular outpatient clinics and being part of the on-call roster for specific trauma cases.
Essential criteria:
- A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons & Australian Orthopaedic Association, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
- Post fellowship training in Lower Limb Arthroplasty. Training in management of complex Orthopaedic trauma.
- Evidence of being a medical expert, demonstrated by recent and comprehensive experience in Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery.
