We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the General Ambulatory Care & Infusions department.

About you:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Registered Nurse who possess a passion for person centred care.

The successful applicant is expected to be an experienced nurse with confidence in acute care, or working towards the same. They will be required to work independently in the clinic and infusion settings, providing acute care with an ability to recognise the limits of their scope and escalate appropriately within the interdisciplinary team.

The Registered Nurse will deliver high quality nursing care to patients in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia’s National Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses, criteria for RN as outlined in the Public Hospital Nurses and Midwives (State) Awardand the Policies and Procedures of the MoH and Sydney Local Health District (SLHD).

The purpose of this role is to provide clinical practice in an integrated model of care called General Ambulatory Care. The Registered Nurse will provide evidence-based nursing care to ambulatory based clients and will have the ability to work autonomously but also excel as part of a team. Care will be provided form a quality framework, using a proactive approach that promotes positive health outcomes and client independence. There will be the opportunity to work across a broad range of clinical specialties within the many outpatient clinics, that operate Monday to Friday (8am - 4.30pm) as well as the opportunity to work within our nurse led infusion service (7 day a week service).
