About the Role

Professor Marie Bashir Centre Camperdown was opened in 2014 and has been designed to be a place of healing and recovery. The centre is integrated with community mental health services to ensure people can get back to work, school, family and friends as soon as possible. The centre is a warm and calm environment with murals, a peaceful garden and colourful common areas for patients and their visitors.

The Senior Pharmacist - Mental Health is responsible for the safe and efficientprovision of medicines at the Professor Marie Bashir Centre (PMBC). This position oversees the effective provision of high quality pharmaceutical services at CCMH and provides expert advice relating to the specialty area of mental health to health care professionals and clients.

Ideal Candidate

  • Current registered as a pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and able to practice independently.
  • Extensive clinical pharmacy practice experience within a tertiary referral hospital, or experience in Mental Health Pharmacy service provision.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
