About the Role:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a driven and compassionate Senior Psychologist to join our team within the Gordon McKay Child Development Unit. As a Senior Psychologist in our Child Development Unit, you will play a pivotal role in providing assessment and diagnostic services to families and children presenting with complex developmental delays and disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Working alongside a dedicated team of allied health professionals and healthcare experts, you will utilise your highly specialised clinical skills to manage complex clinical cases.
Your expertise in administering specialised assessment tools for the diagnosis and management of neurodevelopmental disorders, including ASD, will be instrumental in optimising client and family outcomes. Through your exceptional interpersonal abilities and deep understanding of child development, you will guide families through a challenging journey, providing invaluable support and empowering them to foster their child's growth and well-being.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate degree (Masters in Clinical or Health Psychology) or equivalent qualification recognised by the PsyBA. Must hold general registration with the PsyBA, and be endorsed in (Clinical or Health Psychology) area or practice. Must hold approved supervisor status with the PsyBA at all levels of supervision (primary and secondary).
