Where you’ll be working:

HKH Emergency Department is a newly commissioned combined Adult / Paediatric Emergency Department with an amazing team of Clinical NUM’s, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Educators, Clinical Nurse Specialists and Registered and Enrolled Nursing staff.


What you’ll be doing:
As a Registered Nurse applicant you will be working in a busy Emergency Department, caring for Adult and Paediatric patients across a wide spectrum of trauma, surgical, medical and mental health presentations. This is a challenging and rewarding role supported by a structured training pathway designed on an individual basis by the ED CNE.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
  4. A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development.
  5. Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  6. An understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the Registered Nurse.
