What you’ll be doing
- Are you a Registered Nurse and want to make a real difference helping some of the most vulnerable people in NSW?
- Working amongst a supportive, multi-disciplinary healthcare team at the Broken Hill Health Service, you will provide our patients with safe, compassionate, person centred care.
- You will also get to supervise and mentor ENs and AINs and students on clinical placement.

How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible.
- Current nursing/midwifery registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current postgraduate or minimum Graduate Certificate qualification in Intensive Care, Coronary Care, or Critical Care.
- Demonstrated application of professional and ethical boundaries to the delivery of patient care in the context of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualised person centred care patient care.
- Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.
- Demonstrated commitment to work and partner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait, Islander patients and families and employees to enhance health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.
- Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
