About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse (CN) within our dynamic Cardiology Unit, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals with a range of cardiology conditions. You will manage a specific portfolio that supports a designated area of practice, ensuring that care is underpinned by evidence-based guidelines and practices. With a strong foundation built on experience and advanced study, you will work alongside a passionate and skilled team, transitioning from a competent to proficient practitioner. This is a role where you will demonstrate leadership in clinical practice, providing expert guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff, fostering professional growth within the team.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the processes of nursing care delivery, ensuring continuity from admission to discharge, and promoting a safe and culturally sensitive environment for both patients and staff. With a comprehensive understanding of cardiology care, you will be accountable for your own clinical practice while also taking on leadership responsibilities in guiding others. While primarily clinical, this role also offers opportunities to engage in portfolio management, which will be aligned with your personal career development plan. If you are a dedicated and experienced nurse with a passion for cardiology, this is the perfect opportunity to make a lasting impact in a supportive and innovative healthcare environment.

- Strong Communication & Problem-Solving Skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively.

- Leadership Experience, with a proven ability to guide and mentor student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
