As a Nurse Consultant, you will bring your expert clinical nursing to provide exceptional care to individual patients or specific groups. In this dynamic role, you’ll play a key part in improving patient outcomes by offering clinical leadership and contributing to various projects and programs. Your autonomy in decision-making will allow you to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care while supporting your colleagues in providing outstanding patient care.

About You

We are seeking a qualified individual who demonstrates strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement in healthcare practices. Your role will support our goal of enhancing patient care and community health outcomes.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in nursing, or a related human services discipline (Graduate Diploma or Master's level).
  • Skills & Abilities: Proficient with relevant computer systems and software, capable of analysing complex clinical data, and confident in delivering presentations to both community and professional groups.
  • Experience: Practical experience in clinical management and leadership, applying quality improvement methodologies, and integrating research findings into practice.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of the South Australian Public Health System and its operations.
