We are seeking a highly skilled CNC (McGrath Cancer Nurse - Colorectal) to join our dynamic Cancer Care Services team. In this rewarding role, you will be at the forefront of delivering holistic, patient-centered care to individuals with colorectal cancer. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll provide education, support, and coordination for patients, ensuring they navigate their cancer journey with confidence and comfort.

Your opportunity:

  • The Clinical Nurse Consultant (McGrath Cancer Care Nurse – Colorectal) (MCCN-Colorectal) is a clinical leader, with expert knowledge regarding the spectrum of colorectal cancer, inclusive of health assessment, treatment pathways, referrals, and on-going facilitation of clinical and supportive cancer care.
  • The MCCN-Colorectal provides care, information, and support for people with colorectal cancer across the continuity of care pathways and multidisciplinary teams across the cancer care community within the Health Service/demographic region.
  • The MCCN-Colorectal will provide collaborative clinical and supportive care for people with colorectal cancer and their families, along with the facilitation of communication across the multidisciplinary cancer care team.

2 x Temporary Part Time (38 hours p.f.) from date of appointment until 30th June 2027 with the possibilty of extension. 1 x position located at Bundaberg and 1 x position located at Hervey Bay.

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $82,106 p.a., comprising salary between $66.86 - $72.59 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (2 x Temporary Full Time Positions, 38 hours p.f., from the date of appointment until 30th June 2027 with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
