An Eastern QLD hospital requires a Specialist in Internal Medicine from 28/04/2025 to 30/05/2025.

SHIFTS:

START: Monday 28 April 2025 (0800)
FINISH: Friday 30 May 2025 (1630)

The duties include, but are not limited to daily ward round in the stroke unit to attend to any stroke related patients from the ED and rural facilities. Experience in hyperacute stroke management (CT prefusion reading and thrombolysis as well as assessing for patients for Clot retrieval ) is expected.

Roster

Monday to Friday 0800 – 1630. Oncall is required
Manage acute stroke in ED
Manage stroke unit
Stroke MDT ( twice weekly)
Team- Reg and a intern/RMO, Stroke CNC
