- Tertiary Qualifications in health or related field and experience in providing leadership in population focused health promotion.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the field of healthy eating, active living in the older population.
- Demonstrated experience in program design, implementation, and evaluation within an evidence-based framework.
- Demonstrated experience in project management skills including performance monitoring ensuring program delivery meets program targets within timeframes.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate with internal and external program partners to achieve successful program implementation and sustainability.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate and coordinate professional staff and to work within an action oriented multidisciplinary team with a population health focus.
- Demonstrated high level analytical, problem solving and oral and written communication skills including computer literacy and the ability to use standard office programs.
- Knowledge and commitment to addressing equity and an understanding of the issues that impact on program delivery in relation to social disadvantage, Aboriginal and CALD communities.
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
