About Us
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a wonderful place to expand your career and grow your skills and knowledge. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we provide a range of public health services to the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Region.
Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.
An opportunity is now available for Enrolled Nurses to join the team in the Medical imaging Department, located at Nepean Hospital in either a Permanent Full time or Part time role.
Your role as the Enrolled Nurse will engage in analytical thinking; use information and/or evidence; and skilfully and empathetically communicate with all involved in the provision of care, including the person receiving care and their family and community, and health professional colleagues.
The EN standards are clinically focused and they reflect the EN’s capability to:
- provide direct and indirect care
- engage in reflective and analytical practice, and
- demonstrate professional and collaborative practice. ENs, where appropriate, educate and support other (unregulated) health care workers (however titled) related to the provision of care.
Our positive and innovative environment will offer many opportunities and career pathways whilst being supported by an experienced and dedicated team consisting of a Nurse Manager, NUM's, Nurse Practitioners, CNC's, CNE, CNS's and RN's.
Working in the medical Imaging Department will allow you to meet the needs of staff, patients and their families whilst working in a diverse team demonstrating CORE values whilst providing exceptional person-centered care.
