About the Role:
The Department of Neonatology is seeking a Registered Nurse Level 2 to join our team at the ACT's only tertiary level 6 neonatal unit. This includes the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Special Care Nursery (SCN), NETS ACT retrieval service, and parent support services. With 36 funded beds across NICU and SCN, we care for approximately 3,500 births and 700 neonatal admissions annually, offering family-centred care in a state-of-the-art, developmentally appropriate environment.
As a Registered Nurse Level 2, you will provide high-level nursing care to neonates in the SCN and lead the team, offering support and mentorship to new and novice staff. You will also oversee patient flow, plan effectively, and work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent outcomes.
