What you will bring to the role

1. Bachelor or post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent and eligibility for full membership of Dietitians Australia.
2. Extensive Clinical experience and knowledge working in relevant clinical settings, providing assessment and interventions in paediatric Dietetics particularly in the infancy and early childhood period for children at risk of or experiencing feeding difficulties or poor nutritional intake.
3. Demonstrated experience working in family partnership to respond to the needs of vulnerable families and the CALD community.
4. Extensive experience in providing clinical consultation and facilitating case reviews/conferences, with use of well-developed interpersonal and conflict resolution skills within a multidisciplinary team.
5. Demonstrated ability to provide information, advice and education to other professionals including: anticipatory guidance, treatment intervention, and management strategies to facilitate progress and promote optimal Nutrition and wellbeing of the child.
6. Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, computer competence and ability to use electronic medical records, word processing and databases.
7. Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel. Ability to travel within the LHD in accordance with the position.
