About the Opportunity
Do you have advanced clinical skills in oncology and haematology, experience with clinical trials, and expertise in aseptic compounding?

If so, come join our team in providing pharmacy cancer care services at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital.

What You'll be Doing
The Senior CTC (Cancer Therapy Centre) Pharmacist is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Bankstown CTC Pharmacy. The Senior CTC Pharmacist oversees the dispensing and supply of chemotherapeutic agents, including investigational drugs in clinical drug trials, and provides expert clinical advice relating to the specialised areas of clinical trials, haematology and oncology to health care professionals, patients and their carers.

Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia. This hospital has tertiary affiliations with three universities and offers a range of roles and experiences to employees.

The hospital receives highly diverse presentations in ED as well as having general medical and surgical services and sub-specialty services across the hospital.   1. Demonstrated high level skills and experience as a clinical pharmacist including excellent therapeutic knowledge; a demonstrated in-depth understanding of oncology and haematology treatment protocols including knowledge and use of eviQ and other reference sources.
  2. Demonstrated experience working within a multidisciplinary team, including a record of participation in clinical meetings and medical rounds
  3. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult effectively, advise and provide assistance to professional peers and other staff. Including computer literacy and ability to use health information systems.
  4. Experience in managing and developing quality improvement programs as well as training and education programs.
