What you will bring to the role:

1. Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
2. Registered Nurse must have completed the new graduate program or worked for 12 months as a registered nurse, with demonstrated experience and clinical skill in mental health and/or acute care nursing
3. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
4. Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide recovery orientated, trauma informed person centred care
5. Demonstrated effective communication skills - computer, written and verbal
6. Demonstrated ability to recognise and manage physical illness of the consumer within a Mental Health facility
7. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
8. Ability to work a flexible roster, day, evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit/service requirements
