About Your Role

Are you passionate about Child and Family Health Nurse (CFH)? Qualified, or working toward acquiring your CFHN qualification?

Murrumbidgee Local Health District is currently recruiting for experienced Registered Nurses with Child and Family Health (CFH) post graduate qualifications or *working towards a CFH qualification (*must be enrolled with a commencement date) to join the team at theTresillian in Murrumbidgee - Wagga

This position will be involved in the provision of quality child and family health services to families caring for children 0-3 years of age within a Tresillian service. This will be achieved by working within the Tresillian Model of Care, Practice Principles and the NSW Health Professional Practice Framework for Child and Family Health clinicians (CFH).

The CFHN will use a strength-based and wellness focus, building on parental confidence and skills through the provision of information, education, resources, guidance, and role modelling safe responsive care.

The CFHN, utilising evidenced based screening and assessment tools, uses their family partnership skills to identify health variations or family vulnerabilities to negotiate individual care plans and discharge pathways to meet the goals of the family.

The successful applicant/s will be supported by a comprehensive onboarding programme which includes innovative clinical supervision that will further increase your knowledge and confidence
