What you'll be doing
In this role, you will support the Department of Gastroenterology & Hepatology and the Storr Liver Unit in advancing care for liver and gastrointestinal diseases through clinical trials and patient-centred support.

  • Assisting in conducting clinical trials under managerial guidance.
  • Managing clinical trial cases for patients with liver diseases.
  • Providing education, counselling, and support to patients and families.
  • Explaining treatment plans and current clinical trial options.
  • Contributing to improving outcomes for liver and gastrointestinal conditions.

Essential Criteria:

  • Registration: Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

Selection Criteria:

  1. Experience in Clinical Research Trials.
  2. High level demonstrated oral, written and interpersonal skills with report writing experience.
  3. Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision and also within a collaborative team environment.
  4. Ability to manage a fast paced workload with competing priorities.
  5. Competency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and databases.
  6. Experience in or demonstrated commitment to acquire clinical skills in venepuncture, ECG, FibroScan, sample collection and laboratory preparation.
