Are you a Consultant Dermatologist looking for a permanent role in the South London region?

Our client wishes to appoint a Consultant to lead the clinical provision of its Intermediate Dermatology Services. A full job description can be provided

Clinical sessions will be held in community clinics including skin surgery sessions, both independently and jointly with Dermatology GPwSIs. There may be some flexibility in sessions depending on clinical and service demands. The work will be predominantly Tier 3 dermatology and skin cancer referrals, although some Tier 4 dermatology may be included depending upon specific service specification requirements and development. Regular teaching clinics will be held with existing Dermatology GPwSIs to develop clinical management complex cases and Tier 4 cases. This may include joint clinics, case review and email/ telephone discussion.

The successful candidate will attend clinical governance meetings, review audit findings, provide peer support and conduct teaching clinics with the Dermatology clinical team. Carry out clinical appraisals and participate in the re accreditation process. Provide Clinical Leadership for the Dermatology services and ensure clinicians are aware of the latest national clinical developments and guidelines. They will ensure all clinical work is carried out within the specification of the contracts.

You will also be required to carry out teaching and training.
