  1. A Social Work degree which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
  2. Demonstrated experience as a Social Worker in relevant clinical area (Youth Health) and an understanding of issues affecting health and well being of young people (12 - 24 years of age) and their families.
  3. Proven experience prioritising work across various disciplines - within Youth Health Services and managing stressful situations.
  4. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  5. Demonstrated high level communication skills (written, verbal and computer) with demonstrated experience in developing partnerships and working effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  6. Evidence of commitment to clinical supervision and professional learning.
  7. Demonstrated understanding and application of evidence based practice, commitment to quality processes.
